COMPONENTS:
HIBISCUS
Hibiscus has more than 300 species that grow mainly in tropical and subtropical regions around the world. Hibiscus Sabdariffa is native to India and Malaysia, where it is commonly grown. The drug consists of glasses.
The main components are organic acids, citric, tartaric and malic acids. The petals contain a flavonoglucoside, isbiscritin, which produces a crystalline aglycone, hibiscetin, anthocyanins including hibiscin, mucilaginous polysaccharides and pectins. The citrate anion, contained in a prevalent percentage, when administered orally, is metabolised to bicarbonate anion causing a systemic alkalinization useful for counteracting acidosis.
It is used as a tonic to assist digestive and renal functions. The drink is refreshing and provides relief during hot periods by increasing blood flow to the surface of the skin by dilating the pores.
The combination of organic acids present, which are difficult to absorb, and the mucilage content give anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous properties. It is rich in polyphenols and it has been hypothesized that the hypotensive effect may be associated with direct vasorelaxant effects.
The hypotensive effect was proposed to be related to its ability to induce endothelium-dependent effects related to the activation of nitric oxide synthase by active components of the extract. Additionally, hibiscus extract has been found to act as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. in vitro.
The biological activities of phenolic compounds in health promotion and disease prevention depend on intake, absorption, transport to target organs, and metabolism.
ASH TREE
There are numerous varieties but the one used for its health properties is called Alto Ash or Major Ash, easily recognizable due to its particular buds.
It boasts anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, antiarthritic, diuretic and antioxidant properties. These properties are due to the presence of coumarins and flavonoids which inhibit the production of endogenous inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins.
CURRANT BLACK
Belonging to the Saxifragaceae family, Blackcurrant contains polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins in its leaves. It is indicated in clinical manifestations in which it is necessary to stimulate the adrenal cortex.
Considered a "natural cortisone", it is indicated for allergies and joint and rheumatic pain. It is considered a stimulant of the immune defenses.
YOU GREEN
Plant with recognized health properties, used by the Chinese for over 2000 years. Rich in polyphenols, it is a powerful antioxidant, has a beneficial effect on cholesterol, ensures good functioning of the liver and kidneys, reduces the absorption of sugars and has a slight diuretic effect.
DANDELION
It is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Aseraceae family. The main components of its phytocomplex are triterpene alcohols (tarasserol); sterols; vitamins (A, B, C, D); inulin; bitter principles (tarexacin); mineral salts which give the plant bitter-tonic and digestive properties.
Its root has properties that concern the maintenance of liver and biliary function; promotes the elimination of waste (sugars, triglycerides, cholesterol and uric acids); It has diuretic properties due to the presence of flavonoids and partly potassium salts, which stimulate diuresis by promoting the elimination of excess fluids.
It promotes digestive and liver function, the regularity of intestinal transit. It stimulates the production of bile by the liver and facilitates its passage into the intestine, where it is involved in the digestion of fats.
GUARANA'
Climbing plant, evergreen, native to the Amazon forest belonging to the Sapindaceae family. Its ideal habitat is that of the Amazon forest where it grows spontaneously along the rivers.
The main active ingredient is guaranine, a xanthine, which promotes the release of catecholamines: adrenaline and norepinephrine. It has always been considered by the Indians as an elixir of long life; its use was centered above all on the tonic-stimulating effect, to therefore increase physical resistance.
But its properties are countless, widely tested and documented. It is indicated in states of fatigue, asthenia and for greater physical and mental performance.
It also helps to reduce the feeling of hunger and is therefore indicated in controlled low-calorie diets for weight reduction as it promotes the consumption of adipose cells and guaranine, by replacing itself in the nerve centers, allows you to feel less hungry and tired. C
Like all xanthines, abuse can lead to tachycardia and increased blood pressure.
