Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, electrolyte balance, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal muscle function, normal energy metabolism and normal psychological function.

Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, the normal function of the immune system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, the regulation of hormonal activity and normal energy metabolism.

Griffonia seeds promote normal mood, relaxation (sleep) and mental well-being and control the feeling of hunger. Rhodiola roots promote normal mood, tonic (physical and mental tiredness). Tonic-adaptogen.

COMPONENTS:

Our marine magnesium is a solution obtained from the natural concentration of sea water of Mediterranean origin obtained through the solar evaporation of a salt pan.

After the evaporation of the chlorine and the crystallization and subsequent deposits of the calcium, sodium and potassium salts and of the majority of the magnesium sulphate initially contained in the sea water, the concentration process finally leads to the concentrated solution of magnesium chloride of marine origin.

Magnesium

Essential mineral. It is part of the processes linked to the activities of the nervous system, skeletal, muscular and circulatory systems. It plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses and muscle contraction.

Its deficiency manifests itself with a series of different symptoms ranging from alterations in the heart rhythm, to anxiety, headache, insomnia, menstrual cycle disorders, muscle cramps. To fill this deficiency, a daily intake is recommended, as it has no contraindications of overdose, unlike other minerals.

The advantage of using marine magnesium essentially consists in the fact that this is an organic salt, therefore more easily assimilated and easier to retain than inorganic magnesium salts. This greater bioavailability also allows better results with smaller quantities of product.

Vitamin B6

Normalizes the functions of the nervous system, normalizes the functions of the immune system, regulates hormonal activity.

Rhodiola

Spontaneous plant of the mountainous regions (from 3000 to 5000 m) of northern Europe and Asia. In Siberia, where it is called Golden Root, it is used in folk medicine against tiredness and its use seems connected to the surprising longevity of the local populations.

The main clinical trials by scholars from the former Soviet Union have confirmed the values attributed by popular tradition regarding resistance to fatigue and cold, and the normalization of the body's functions even in the presence of stress of various kinds.

There are around 200 varieties, but Rosea is the most appreciated for its richness in active ingredients, in particular salidroside and rosavin. Since ancient times, herbal remedies derived from plants called adaptogens have been used to combat physical and intellectual stress. R., little known in the West until a few years ago, is today considered the most complete adaptogen.

To be an Adaptogen, a plant must not be toxic, it must allow all the normal physiological functions of the organism; the action exerted by the active ingredients contained must be non-specific and maintain the correct functionality of the organism even in the presence of situations of fatigue (e.g. physical or mental stress, etc.); must exert an action aimed at normalizing the functions of the organism even in the presence of pathological conditions.

Rhodiola and depression

Based on the experiments conducted so far, it seems that the action of Rhodiola rosea root extract against depression is expressed through the increase in serotonin levels in the blood.

This happens more for its preservation than for the stimulation of its biosynthesis. Recent studies state that Rodhiola rosea has proven capable of significantly reducing the symptoms linked to depression.

Memory and learning

The adaptogenic action of Rhodiola rosea is also expressed in those situations in which the source of stress is represented by particularly intense intellectual activity. ù

The administration of Rhodiola rosea extract is able to exert a stimulating effect on mental activity, improving concentration, clarity and mnemonic potential.

This effect has been the subject of numerous studies to date, although the exact mechanism of action is not yet fully clarified.

Rhodiola and body weight maintenance

Rhodiola rosea extract is able to stimulate the activity of lipase, consequently promoting the mobilization of fats.

This property has been the subject of some interesting studies aimed at better defining the role that can be attributed to the dry extract obtained from the root of Rhodiola rosea as part of a program aimed at losing or maintaining body weight.

Sports performance

The majority of studies available to date on Rhodiola rosea have concerned its improving effect on sports performance.

Many of these were conducted in the former Soviet Union and have made Rhodiola rosea extract one of the most recommended natural products used by Russian athletes to increase performance and reduce the duration of the recovery phase. In general, the activity associated with Rhodiola rosea extract has proven effective already alone or in association with that of other plants.

Rhodiola and heart

It is now known to everyone that stress is one of the main risk factors for heart and cardiovascular diseases.

The adaptogenic action exerted by Rhodiola rosea extract is expressed through the modulation of the heart's response to stress and is therefore aimed at protecting cardiac tissue. The exact mechanisms by which an action of this type can be achieved require further investigation.

However, from some experiments conducted on animals it seems that Rhodiola rosea extract can contribute to the prevention of cardiac pathologies probably through a modulation action on the release of catecholamines and corticoids in the stress response phase.

Rhodiola and genital system

The tonic and stimulating properties of Rhodiola rosea have been known to the Russian population for centuries. A study conducted in a Russian research institute has highlighted how there may be scientific evidence for what popular beliefs assert.

Griffonia

Woody plant of the Fabaceae family widespread mainly in the tropical areas of Africa. The drug is made up of mature seeds that contain 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan), an immediate precursor in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitter Serotonin, one of the main neurotransmitters of the nervous system and is involved in the regulation of mood, sleep (serotonin is itself a precursor of melatonin) and hunger.

Therefore, by taking Griffonia it is possible to increase the intake of 5-HTP and increase the levels of serotonin in the body, with positive results on mood, on the quality of sleep, on the containment of anxiety and nervous hunger. or compulsive, particularly in the desire for carbohydrates.

Griffonia and nervous hunger

5-HTP induces an inhibitory effect on the hypothalamus mediated by an increase in serotonin, which generates a sense of satiety with consequent reduction in appetite and decrease in body weight.

Griffonia and depression

5-HTP, as a precursor of serotonin, increases its production and has proven antidepressant activity. Alongside the antidepressant effect, numerous studies attest to the clinical effectiveness of 5-HTP in the case of anxiety syndromes and phobic crises. Therefore an integration of 5-HTP in the diet is able to normalize the mood.

Griffonia and sleep

Since serotonin is the precursor of melatonin and since the latter facilitates the regulation of sleep, the increase in serotonin synthesis translates into a regularization of the sleep-wake rhythm.
